She shared in a marriage of 52 years, becoming the mother of Kathleen Griffin and stepmother to Jim and Bob Griffin.

Ruth is survived by her stepsons, Jim (Peyton) and Bob; her grandchildren; brother, David Anderson (Renee); and a host of dear nephews, nieces and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Kathleen; husband, Charles; and siblings: Clara, Sally, Edna, Alma Arlene, Art and Adolph.

Thank you to the great people of the Good Samaritan, Good Samaritan Apartments and Memory Building in Pine River and the Care Center in Pequot Lakes for the wonderful care provided. A special thank you to the staff and patients of the Memory Building for hosting the wonderful friendship she established with her best of friends, Meta. Last but not least, thank you to the great St. Croix Hospice team for the love and devotion shown to Ruth.
