Amaryllis Shubert

Amaryllis Ann (Amy) Shubert, age 76, of Pequot Lakes, passed away on Monday, December 3, 2007 at St. Joseph Hospital in Brainerd.

Born January 15, 1931 to Edwin and Anna Peterson in Stanchfield, Minnesota, Amy was a graduate of Braham High School.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and two brothers.

She is survived by Jim, her husband of 54 years and two children, daughter Roni Ann (Mark) Zuber of Arden Hills, and son Jay D. (Janna) Shubert of Lockeford, California; five grandchildren , one great granddaughter, and two brothers.

A member of Grace United Methodist Church, Amy was a long-time choir member, participated in United Methodist Women's activities, and was an active volunteer. She was a member of both the American Legion and the Marine Corps League Auxiliaries. She loved music, enjoyed her friends and family, and friends will long remembered her as a loving mother and wife, and as a kind and gentle lady.

A service in celebration of her life will be held at Grace United Methodist Church in Pequot Lakes at 11 AM on Friday, December 14, 2007. Arrangements are with Kline Funeral Home, Pequot Lakes.
