Ardyth Muenchow

Muenchow, Ardyth M. "Ardie", age 71, of Backus, MN. Ardie was a Christian, who lived in Minnesota all of her life(10/27/36 - 2/1/08), including Minneapolis, Hibbing, St. Paul, Shakopee and Backus (Sanborn Lake). Ardie was a people person. She was employed in several caring positions throughout the years including St. Paul's Jehovah Lutheran Church, the Shakopee Chamber of Commerce, Shakopee schools, Scott County Community Action Agency, and the Bloomington Minnesota Masonic Home. Ardie was extremely skilled in needlework, crafting, and quilting fields. She willingly and generously shared her knowledge to all that surrounded her, of whom there were many. A celebration of her loving life will be at St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Hackensack, MN on Saturday, February 9, at 11:00 AM with visitation one hour preceding the service and lunch following the service. Inurnment services will be held at a later date at Crystal Lake Cemetery, Mpls., MN. She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Minnie Glaesman. She is survived by husband George, sons: Eric (Shakopee), Kurt (Shakopee), Todd and Tari (Monticello), and daughter: Kristen and Darrin Burdine (Veseli), four grandchildren, brother: Robert and Joni Glaesman (Willmar), sisters: Ruth Doughty (Madison, WI), Karen and Charles Steele (Apple Valley). In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
