Dale Farr

Dale L. Farr, age 80, of Brainerd and formerly of Pine River, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, October 20, 2018, at Essentia St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd. Dale was born in Sebeka, MN, on March 29, 1938, to Floyd and Blanche Farr. Dale went to high school in Pine River. On June 29, 1957, he married his first love, Beverly DeBolt. They lived in North Branch for 30 years before returning to Pine River. In 2017 he found love and happiness again and married Margaret Boehne. They resided in Brainerd.

Dale enjoyed his family, horseback riding, fishing and golfing. Playing cards and camping were also among his favorite activities.

Dale is survived by his wife, Margaret; children: Rick (Lynn) Farr of Cold Spring, Ron (Kathy) Farr of Brook Park, Wayne (Rhonda) Farr of Rush City; grandchildren: Ryan (Kristina) Farr, Derek (Jillian) Farr, Jennifer (Nathan) Stolt, Deon (Brittany) Farr; great grandchildren: Rozlyn Farr, Calvin Farr, Ryley Stolt, Jamison Stolt, Barrett Stolt, Bailey Stolt; brother, Roy (Grace) Farr; and sister, Ardis (Joe) Paulson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Blanche Farr; first wife, Beverly; and sister, Joyce Penas.

Funeral services for Dale will be 1 PM on Saturday, October 27, at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Honorary Urn Bearers will be his grandsons, Ryan Farr, Derek Farr, Deon Farr and Nathan Stolt. Interment will be at Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery, Backus.
