David Johnson

David Lee Johnson passed away on September 3, 2022, at the age of 65. He was born to Medora and Ray Johnson on April 18, 1957, in Onamia, MN. He proudly served in the U.S. Army for a short term.

David liked sitting around a nice campfire, playing cribbage (he loved it when he could “skunk you”), and a good game of Yahtzee or Scrabble.

David is survived by his wife, Danelle: sons, Rick (Christina) and Jerrod; daughters, Kari (Pat), Kelly and Heather; daughter-in-law, Kissryn; grandchildren: Kameron, Alexis, Hunter, Abby, Linda, Kendrick and Easton; brothers, Eric (Jeri) and Danny; sisters, Patty and Sandy (Steve); and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Medora and Ray; first wife, Linda; and brother, Mike.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 3 to 5 PM on Sunday, September 11, at Kline Funeral Home, Pequot Lakes. As per Dave’s request, there will be no service and a private burial will be held at a later date.
