Donald Rudquist

Donald George Rudquist was born to George and Florence (Demars) Rudquist on August 2, 1943, in Minneapolis, MN. He passed away on November 4, 2022, at his home in Backus.

Donald loved anything to do with the great outdoors, visiting, playing cards, woodworking and being with his family. He was very active in many different ways at St. Agnes and Sacred Heart Churches. Donald loved his Catholic faith. He was in the Army from 1961 to 1967.

Donald is survived by his wife, Mary; children: Connie Haddock, Wendy Tormanen (Todd), Tammy Rudquist, Todd Rudquist (Rachel), James Rudquist (Jennifer); grandchildren: Jeremy, Jacob, Diana, Clint, Ann Marie, Rebecca, Sheree, Brandi, Ashley, Erica, Austin, Aaron, Damon, Jayme, Paisley, Calli; brother, Daryl Rudquist; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, George Rudquist; mother, Florence Brown; stepfather, Milan Brown; brother, Gary Brown; sister, Reyna McLean; daughter, Arla Haddock; and grandson, Justin Bauer.

Visitation will begin at 12:30 PM on Friday, November 11, followed by Rosary at 1:30 PM and Mass of Christian Burial at 2 PM, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Hackensack. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Backus.
