Edward Beek

Edward R. Van Beek, age 70, of Pine River, passed away Monday, July 9, 2018, at Essentia Hospital in Fargo. He was born to Russell and Ethelyn Van Beek in Stillwater, MN, on August 6, 1947. Ed served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. HE LIVED HIS LIFE THE WAY HE WANTED.

Ed is survived by his wife, Kaye; very special sister-in-law, Betty Dailey; son, Joshua; 2 granddaughters; 4 brothers; 4 sisters; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, 2 sisters and infant daughter.

Services will be 2 PM on Sunday, July 22, at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River, with lunch following at the Pine River American Legion. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial with military honors will be 10 AM on Monday, July 23, at Minnesota State Veteran’s Cemetery, Camp Ripley.
