Joann Hoskin

JoAnn Hoskin, age 91, a resident of Bethany Good Samaritan Society, Brainerd, formerly of Pequot Lakes and Brainerd, passed away Monday, November 4, 2019. JoAnn was born to Purlie and Inez Dixon on February 1, 1928, in Bloomfield, IA. She was proud of her work at St. Joseph’s Medical Center Dietary Department and also as a Walmart greeter for many years.
JoAnn is survived by her daughters: Jennifer Davenport (Harlan) of Willmar, Teresa Peterson (Bob) of Pequot Lakes, Cindy Akre (Alan) of Blaine; brother, Errol Dixon of Boone, IA; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Quentin Hoskin in 2013 and her parents.
Memorial service will be 1 PM on Friday, November 8, at Bethany Good Samaritan Society, Brainerd. Visitation will be held one hour before the service. Burial will be at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Camp Ripley.
