Leon Meyer

Leon L. “Lee” Meyer (CSM Retired), age 89, of Hackensack, and formerly Plymouth, MN, died peacefully on March 18, 2019, in Tucson, AZ. He was born December 3, 1929, in St. Cloud, MN, to Herb and Ruth Meyer.

Lee was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Carol (nee Gabbert); sisters and brothers-in-law, Lucille Hunz (Raymond), Frances Bock (Herb), Donna Olson (Don) and Joyce Orcutt (Logan); and several nieces and nephews. He is survived by his loving wife, Lorraine Enos; daughters: Linda Meyer of Crystal, MN and Laurie Paquette (Tom) of Plymouth, MN; grandchildren: Justin of Plymouth, MN and Joshua of Des Moines, IA; brother, Cleon “Butch”; sister-in-law, Dianna; many nieces and nephews; and Lorraine’s loving family – sons, daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11 AM on Tuesday, April 2 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Hackensack. Interment will be 2 PM on Tuesday at Minnesota State Veteran’s Cemetery, Little Falls. Visitation will be Monday from 5 to 7 PM at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River, and beginning at 9:30 AM prior to the service at the church. Memorials are preferred to the family.
