Michael Gearey

Michael Victor Gearey, age 68, of Pine River, passed away suddenly on Monday, September 18, 2023. He was born to Robert and Isabel Gearey on December 8, 1954, in Park Rapids, MN. 

Mike operated an independent drywall business locally for many years. He loved spending time with family, visiting over a cup of coffee. Mike enjoyed growing a big garden and sharing the produce with others. He also enjoyed many fishing trips to Canada with “the boys”. Rest in peace, Mike.

Mike is survived by daughter, Kelly; siblings: Janice Kieffer (Randy), Robert Gearey (Judy), Eileen Fisher (David), Stephen Gearey (Barb), Paul Gearey (Tammy); grandchildren: Dylan, Chance, Alyssa, Noah; great grandchildren: Travis, Dayton, Kaleb, Braylee; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; nephew, Patrick; and great nephew, Devin.

Private family graveside service will be held at Pine Ridge Cemetery, Pine River.
