Scot Weise

Scot Weise, 59, of Nisswa, passed away on March 15th, 2024, at the St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth after experiencing a stroke the week prior.

He was born in St. Peter, MN, to John and Caroljean Weise on April 25, 1964. He graduated from Pequot Lakes High school then attended St. Cloud State University where he enjoyed playing the trombone in jazz band.

He married the love of his life, Connie, on May 17, 1997, and they had their beautiful daughter, Mariah, on June 30, 2000. Scot enjoyed going to concerts, spending time with his dog, and loved making others laugh.

Scot will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Mariah; mother, Caroljean; brother, Earl; and many cousins, uncles, and aunts. He was preceded in death by his wife, Connie; father, John; and grandparents, Oscar and Ruth Wallin.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at the Essentia St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth for their care and compassion.

A memorial service will be held 2 PM on Thursday, March 21, at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Pequot Lakes. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial to follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Nisswa.
