Shirley Schrupp

Shirley Ann Schrupp, age 79, of Pine River, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2019, at her home. She was born to Edward and Veronica Witt on November 17, 1939, in Darling, MN.

Shirley taught at the Pine River-Backus Schools for many years before retiring in 1999. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, flowers and loved her grandchildren dearly.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Fred; daughter, Cindy Schrupp; sons, Fred Schrupp (Jodie) and Dan Schrupp (Judy); brothers: Don Wippler, James Witt, Bill Witt; sisters: Janyce Bartkowitz, Genevieve Baron, Joan Hudalla, Debra DeRosier; 16 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Jiggs. She was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter, Stacy Schrupp.

Services will be 2 PM on Friday, June 21, at First Lutheran Church, Pine River. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 7 PM at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River, and one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Norwood Cemetery, rural Pine River.
