Bonita Mills

Bonita Joy Mills, age 56, passed away Saturday, March 13, 2021. She was born, the 9th of 10 children, a twin, on June 21, 1964, to Earlene and Irie Mills. Bonita was a smart, kind, gentle soul who cherished her family. She helped those in need and wanted to take in every animal needing a home. Bonita loved music, crafts, flowers and gardening. She was a jack of all trades - office secretary, forklift driver, DJ, shipping line supervisor, trained in CPR, cook and State Food Manager certified.

Bonita is survived by her daughter, Heather (Dustin) Manning; granddaughter, Alexandra Manning; brother, Tim (Lori) Mills; sisters: Marlene (Gary) Carson, Rita (Jesse) Dabill, Colleen (Jody) Schussman, Debbie (Steve) Oliver; Cindy (Joe) Provencher and twin sister, Bonnie Mills. She was preceded in death by her mother, Earlene Mills; father, Irie Mills; brother, Jerry Mills; sister, Sharon Manley; infant grandson, JD Scott Manning; and niece, Sheila Rice.

A celebration of her life will be 11 AM on Saturday, May 15 at New Life Church (formerly Faith Assembly of God) in Pine River.
