Curtis Lindelof

May 17, 1955 — December 6, 2021

Curtis Leonard Lindelof, age 66, passed away peacefully in his home in Pequot Lakes on December 6, 2021, after his battle with cancer. He was well cared for in his final months by his friend, Will, along with other friends and family.
Curt was preceded in death by his husband, Jim Sherwood; his parents, Ruth and Leonard Lindelof; his sisters, Carol Lindelof and Sue Linman; and his niece, Samantha Linman. He leaves behind two sisters, Lauren Lindelof and Jackye Armstrong; several nieces and nephews; as well as many close friends.
Curt was a great friend, mentor, brother, and uncle to many. His Halloween parties were legendary along with his 4th of July parties on Hay Lake. He was known for bringing beautiful floral arrangements to special occasions. Nieces and nephews remember learning how to water ski at the lake cabin, the fun boat rides, his playful side when he’d sweep the floor with their hair and his fondness of cats. His sisters remember time at the cabin relaxing and chatting while surrounded by beautiful plants. He was a great mentor to many employees that became some of his closest friends. He and his husband, Jim, owned and operated The Treehouse in Pequot Lakes, G&S Plants in Pine River, and Nature’s Touch in Nisswa. He will be greatly missed.
There will be a small gathering in the spring with close friends and family.
