Georgia Theis

Georgia (Stangel) Theis, age 69, passed away on September 18, 2022, at her home in rural Pine River. She was born in Crosby, MN, on January 27, 1953, to Richard and D. Marie Stangel.

Georgia is survived by husband, Richard Theis; sisters: Jeanette Gale of Las Vegas, NV, Pat (Jim) Earl of Crosby, Linda (Jim) Gutenkauf of Crosby; stepchildren: Debbie (Steve) Smegal, Barbara Russell, Susan (Paul) Stevens, Tom (Julia) Theis, Tim (Gabriella) Theis; many step grandchildren; brother-in-law, Louie Theis of Little Falls; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Marlene (Wood) Gilmer; brother and sister-in-law, Barry and Norma Wood; brother-in-law, Don Gale; and sister-in-law, Mary Davis.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM on Tuesday, September 27, at Immaculate Heart Catholic Church, Crosslake, with visitation one hour prior to mass.
