Obituary

Jonathon (Jon) Dale Moser passed away at his home in Maple Grove, MN, on Saturday, May 28, 2022.

Jon is survived by his wife Gloria, daughter Tamara (Kriss) and granddaughters, Zada and Tatum. Also surviving are his siblings, Keith (Carol), Gary (Colleen), and Julie (Robert), and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Jon’s siblings, Lowell and Glenyce preceded him in death.

Jon was born June 7, 1946, in Brainerd, MN, grew up in Swanburg and went to school in Pine River, MN. He maintained lifelong friendships and connections to the area. He was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Swanburg.

Jon owned Moser Distributing, (aka Jon’s Meats) for many years. He loved his work and the people on his route. Jon had an affinity for driving fast cars, boats, snowmobiles; time on and by the lake; and for the art of grilling meat. Jon was a super fan for his granddaughters on the field, court and stage. He made it a point to connect with people wherever he went and worked to figure out “what makes them tick.”

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 9, at First Lutheran Church, Pine River, with visitation one hour before.
