Teri Tweed

February 18, 1952 — October 11, 2020

Teri Lynn Tweed, age 68, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2020 in her home of 44 years, surrounded by family, all her grandchildren and many loved ones. Teri was born a twin (Thomas) February 18, 1952 in Farmington, the daughter of Les and Bette (Miller) Topp.

Teri was a natural caregiver, working as a CNA up until 2015. Her warm hugs and infectious laugh made it easy to feel comfortable around her. Teri met Brian Tweed, Pequot Lakes native, in 1971 and the rest was history. They had three children; Heidi, Heather and Hans. Their home was an open door for all friends and family, caring as second parents for many.

Teri was known for being an amazing mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Her happiest moments were spent up at “The Lake,” trips with her “Fun” sisters, having her children and grandchildren home, and being outdoors boating and gardening. You could find Teri soaking up the sun, on the deck having coffee, or at any garage sale. She loved to laugh and be with family.

Teri is survived by her children: Heidi Tweed Wrobel (Rick), Heather Webster (Shawn), and Hans Tweed (Raegen); her beautiful grandchildren, Piepre, Zaynie, Izaak, Zofia, Griffin and Reed; her companion, Gene Billman and his family; her loving siblings: Leslie Pettis (Dale), Dennis Topp (Lisa), Thomas Topp (Kim), Joe Topp (Linda), and Kate Miller (Rene); her mother-in-law, Vonnie Tweed; sisters-in-law, Shari Brown and Pat Tweed; brothers-in-law, Gary Tweed and Gaynard Brown; along with many wonderful cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Brian; her parents, Les and Bette Topp; her siblings, Kristian and Lori; and her father-in-law, Les Tweed.

Special thanks to St. Croix Hospice for their wonderful care during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, feel free to make a donation to a charity of your choice in Teri’s name. Teri and her hugs will be dearly missed by all who know and love her. Ta Ta For Now….
